Guidelines for recording

Prior to making your recording, please consider the following:

  • Avoid recording in your bedroom or a room where there are lots of pictures and memorabilia in view.
  • Make sure that you are appropriately dressed for the recording.
  • Please refrain from using any swear words in your submission or language that could be considered inappropriate or discriminatory.
  • Try and film in a space where this is as little background noise as possible to ensure the best sound quality

When submitting your work don’t forget to include (either as part of your video, or in writing when you send us your work):

    • A short description of yourself including your name, connection to Waltham Forest, the kind of creative activities you enjoy doing and what inspired you to create your piece. 
    • An image of yourself (this is optional. We would like to share who is behind the creative submission but appreciate not everyone will want to share this).
    • This consent form. We won’t be able to share your work without it!.
